The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is a British breed that was bred as a small animal hunter. They were used for hunting badgers, foxes, and otters. There are known for helping gypsies and poachers to hunt otters in the 19th century.
The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is a small dog breed that only stands between 8 and 11 inches tall and weighs between 18 and 24 pounds. They are characterized by their fluffy white top notch
and salt and pepper coat. This breed also comes in a mustard coat color. They are not the best breed to have if you also have young children. They get along better with kids over the age of 10. The only health concern that is associated with this breed is Intervertebral Disc Disease.
