The Polish Lowland Sheepdog, also called the PON, the Polish Lowland Nizinny, and the Polish Owczarek Nizinny, is a herding dog that originated in Poland. The males of this breed stand between
18 and 20 inches tall and weigh between 40 and 50 pounds. The females stand between 17 and 19 inches tall and weigh between 30 and 40 pounds. They are a double coated breed that doesn’t typically shed. They come in a variety of colors, however, the traditional white and black or white and gray are the most common.
